Lactic Acid is generally considered one of the gentlest chemical exfoliators of the AHA family. With its hydrating properties, it is a part of Natural Moisturising Factors (NMF) and also helps to defend the skin's microbiome.

The water-based serum is composed of 10% Lactic acid with the strongest concentration, breaks down materials that hold dead skin cells together and chemically attracts water molecules to itself, drawing moisture to the freshly exfoliated skin surface. Whereas Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative, a shrub that calms and soothes the skin from sensitization, after exfoliation. And, skin feels hydrated and smoothened with Sodium Hyaluronate.

After cleansing, apply the exfoliating serum, twice a week, at night. Use moisturiser underneath and cover your face with SPF, in the morning, to avoid skin sensitivity. Forbid using on broken and sensitive skin.

Patch Test is highly recommended. Discontinue using, if any sensitisation, burning or irritation persists and approach a Dermatologist.

I was originally planning to buy the 5% lactic acid but ended up with Lactic Acid 10% on a recommendation by a friend.It barely stings when I apply even though I have dry patchy skin so it works well.
